On a fateful autumn day in Minnesota, Larry Wilson stumbled
upon an article by Dr. Abraham Maslow. Larry at the time
was an ex schoolteacher and successful insurance salesman
whom had been asked to create a training course for other
insurance salesmen. After reading Maslow's article, Larry
promptly sought audience with him to discuss his ideas.

After designing a very successful sales training course, Larry
founded Wilson Learning, which grew to become the second
largest training company in the United States biased on the
idea of 'helping others become as much as they can be.'
Wilson Learning was sold in the early '80s and Pecos River
Learning was launched shortly thereafter.

Pecos River was another step in Larry's life long goal to help
individuals and organizations grow to their greatest potential.
Play to Win! is the result of what Larry has learned from
helping over a half of million people and organizations on
their journey of becoming the best they could possibly be.
